Alkmaar

A sensual soap of sexiness.

Alkmaar is soon to be discontinued, possibly because against all those bright colours and attention-grabbing scents, it's pure whiteness and subtle fragrance got overlooked. What a shame though. This is a soap of creamy, sensual delight and never failed to leave the bathroom smelling delicately of jasmine and something-else-rather-floral for hours after use. Named after the cheese capital of the Netherlands, it illustrates how Lush display their soaps in huge cheese-like blocks before smaller slices are cut off to be sold.
